Delicious Meals And Friendly Service
Our residents feel at home with tasty and nourishing home-cooked meals. Our dining program offers a choice of chef-prepared meals with restaurant-style service at every meal. Freshly prepared and locally sourced (whenever possible) produce and high quality meats are at the heart of our dining experience. You’ll find our menu includes a delightful mixture of local and traditional favorites, with seasonal specialties.
Our experienced culinary team offers a variety of options for each meal so you can find selections in our dining experience that meet most dietary needs. Our food is prepared with no added salt, and specialized heart healthy menu selections are available. A member of the culinary team is available to meet with you to provide more detailed information and assistance.
Wellness Program
Exercise and fitness are central to good health. The Pillars at Mankato senior living has a fitness center featuring the equipment you need to stay fit. From cardiovascular equipment and free weights, to a room for stretching and an area ideal for yoga, we have you covered for your fitness needs. We will also offer classes designed to help keep you in shape.

Spiritual Health
The Pillars of Mankato offers spiritual health programs that support residents, family members and staff in continuing toward spiritual growth. Spiritual health can have a positive effect on both health and longevity. Studies have shown that spiritual health can:
- Slow the progression of cognitive impairment with aging. It may even be associated with a slower progression of Alzheimer’s Disease
- Foster increased social participation and a sense of belonging
- Lower stress and increase coping capabilities
Dimensions Program
We are proud to offer the Dimensions Program to residents living within our memory care communities. This program, originally funded by a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health, prepares The Pillars staff to provide exceptional, compassionate care using evidence-based best practices. Our Dimensions Coordinator oversees the multi-faceted program. Our goal is to make a dramatic difference in the life of your loved one.
Our Ebenezer Home Care is in the building and available 24/7 for those who sign up for home care services. They can provide help with medications, dressing, bathing, and more. For those residents who are using our Ebenezer Home Care to manage medications, Thrifty White Pharmacy provides medication delivery.
In-House Senior Services provides in-house audiology, vision and podiatry services for those who would like to sign up for these ancillary services.
PPX is a portable x-ray provider who will visit our building when needed, helping to reduce residents’ trips to the emergency room.
Additional Services & Activities
The Pillars of Mankato’s Life Enrichment Director develops a full monthly calendar with events and activities that keep residents engaged and entertained. We even schedule shopping trips and outings to museums, casinos, plays, and musical events throughout Mankato. We provide transportation in our own private van. You’ll enjoy being dropped off at the door, with no worries about parking, or driving.
- Registered Nurse on site 40 hours/week and on call 24 hours/day
- Activities including Life Long Learning, social, recreational and spiritual programs that care for the total person
- Chef-prepared meals. Optional: available as a meal plan or individual meals
