Celebrating the holiday season with our drive-thru Home for the Holidays event! During the event, we accepted donations for Toys for Tots. Thank you for the wonderful donations!
Every year, The Pillars of Highland Park host a fundraising event for our local Saint Paul Fire Station 19. It was another successful year with 100% of the proceeds from the event going to the St. Paul Fire Department.
The Pillars of Highland Park residents visited our local Twin Cities Jazz Festival at Lowertown in St. Paul. We listened and danced to the music while taking in St. Paul’s vibrant atmosphere. It was the perfect day to be together outside.
At Ebenezer and The Pillars of Highland Park, we believe the time to start talking about, exploring and even making the move to a senior living community is before you need it. It’s true for so many reasons, but one of the most profound is one of Ebenezer’s core values: dignity.
We are pleased that federal and state officials have prioritized long-term care residents and their caregivers for early COVID-19 vaccinations. The vaccine gives us hope for the next chapter in our fight against this virus.
Ebenezer communities have been among the first to receive the recently approved COVID-19 vaccine. We have begun administering the first vaccines to staff and residents in our skilled care communities, and now have started to vaccinate residents and staff at our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities, like our Pillars Senior Living communities.
When COVID-19 sidelined most of our group activities and forced us to think differently about our approach to therapeutic recreation, we turned to a trusted source of fun, safe and individualized entertainment: virtual reality.
Innovative solutions support residents and help them stay connected with loved ones during the pandemic.
In March of 2020, when the world was in the thick of understanding the effects of the coronavirus, everyday life for thousands of Minnesota senior housing residents immediately needed to change. With guidelines put into place requiring masks and social distancing, and stay-at-home orders…
Our top priority is the well-being and safety of our residents and staff members who live and work in our community. We are following the guidelines and restrictions of the Center for Disease Prevention (CDC) as well as the guidelines from the Minnesota Departments of Health and Human Services. We have loosened our restrictions on numbers of people who may gather for events, however, we are limiting the number of people from outside our community who may attend our group events both indoors and outdoors, in order to provide for safe social distancing. This may be subject to change based on infection control protocol. For more information, updates on our response to COVID-19 can be found by clicking the link above to Ebenezer’s Coronavirus Updates.
