WellnessVR is an affordable, VR-based platform developed with partners in health care & designed to enhance well-being in seniors. Programming includes an ever-expanding library of 360° content. Seniors can relax on a beach in New Zealand, travel to Stonehenge, or sit in on a ballroom dance class, all without leaving their seats. And the immersive 360° format makes them feel like they are right there!
Our Renew Salon & Spa provides an array of aesthetic treatments and integrative therapies designed to improve residents’ quality of life. All services are delivered by licensed and certified professionals with extensive experience in aesthetics, massage, and wellness.
Currently, the Pillars Memory Care Fund, Founded by Oppidan is able to touch the lives of over 1,200 seniors throughout the Ebenezer system. This fund has been able to provide over 50 different programs since its inception in 2016, and this number is continuing to grow. We are grateful for this opportunity to provide such incredible programming to seniors with Dementia and all different stages of memory loss.
Our location, adjacent to Grand Itasca Hospital and Clinic, gives peace of mind with easy access to a high level of medical care.
Regularly Scheduled Transportation
The Pillars of Grand Rapids has our own bus that residents can ride for many of our outings, including trips to museums, plays, and sporting events. This bus also makes regularly scheduled shopping trips allowing for freedom and convenience. We drop residents off at the door to save them from the worry about parking or driving.
Events & Activites
The Pillars of Grand Rapids Senior Living incorporates the seven components of wellness (emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, social, environmental, and occupational) into our activities calendar. Our goal is to engage each and every resident by providing a wide variety of social events.
We plan events our residents love including:
