Designed To Meet
At The Pillars of Highland Park, we stress the importance of person-centered care for all of our memory care residents. We create care plans based on your loved one’s abilities, needs, preferences and personal history. Moreover, we are committed to meeting our memory care residents where they are—which can change from day to day. Some days, they function well; other days they may require extra attention. We expect this and train our staff accordingly.
Our memory care neighborhood is designed to help lessen stress and anxiety for our residents who live with Alzheimer’s and other dementias. Each apartment home in our controlled-access memory care neighborhood features a private bath. A serene outdoor garden courtyard is available for “outdoor therapy” where our residents can help with gardening, or just enjoy being outside. This area is also controlled access to protect residents who may wander. Our memory care residents gather for meals and activities in family-style dining and living Rooms. Staff is on-site 24 hours every day providing support.
Memory Care at The Pillars of Highland Park provides the highest level of care for loved ones living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
